I'm makin up my own OBA system because the kits are too expensive and honestly i'd rather make it up myself. Anyway, I obtained a York 210 compressor and I've been buying random goodies from Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc. trying to piece it all together. I've been searching for a mount for it and have been unsuccessful so far and I don't know where else to look. I have an AMC 258 in the Jeep and I've heard there are a few types of mounting brackets for this/the other AMC engines? Any suggestions for where I could find one or does anyone have one I could get?

Thanks,
-Pat

I have the brackets and everything for a sanden on the 258. I think the mount is similar to the one used for yorks but instead of a flat mounting area with mounting holes there were mounting ears on top that the sanden bolted to.

Here is a picture, before I cleaned and painted it, of the mount and sanden compressor. I have all the pullies (idler, etc..) and alt mount. I decided to just carry a small electric compressor.

$200 for everything.

Here is a pic with it installed.

Look at some of the 70/80 AMC cars. Most had the 258 and AC. Good junkyard stuff.
