fuel pump

hey guys,

I have an 81 CJ 7 and i think my fuel pump it just about shot. Should I just replace it or go with an electric one instead. Since I have the straight 6 with a carb does it make a difference?

In my opinion it would be easier and cheaper to replace the manual fuel pump. The electric is not going to give you any more benefits or reliability than the mechanical. JMO
