The engine in the Super Duty is covered for 100,000 miles.
The Drivetrain is covered for 60,000 miles.
The rest is covered for 36,000 miles.

Truck is a 2010 F-250 with a 6.4 Power Stroke Diesel.

Would you add an extended warranty to cover everything to 100,000 miles?
How much would you pay?

i look at it this way. Anything on a diesel that brakes can be replaced with aftermarket. with that said, i didnt get a warranty.

With the way you go through vehicles, a 2/24 will be sufficient. :flipoff2:

I would only extend the drivetrain warranty.

yeah, I would not get anymore warranty. usually the things that go wrong happen under the hood, and all that is pretty much covered under the diesel warranty. plus, if you saw under the hood of a 6.4, you'd want to not ever work on it. however, a higher end truck means higher price parts. :D

as for the price, I have no clue. extended warranties vary a good bit from what I hear, and FORD has I think three levels (premium care-high, extra care-middle, base care-low). the only thing I can tell you is to check with the dealer.

If you have one of these on your dash, you'll never have to worry about it. :D
