View Full Version : PRP seats; anyone in for a group buy?

Let me know if anyone is interested in a going in on a group buy for PRP seats.
I'm interested in getting one pair of Daily Drivers. Numi Jr. and Cronus told me they're both interested too.
So far, I've only contacted Scott @ Rock Buggy Supply (PBB Vendor) but that was for my seats only. Let me know if you want to jump in. I plan on contacting AOI as well.

Suiggestion....get the removable seat cushion like atjeep has. i am in for a set of covers if this goes thru.

I could be in for a set if i could confirm they will fit in my CJ-5 without taking up to much leg room or having to hack the fenders

Please post what you're interested in getting:
Seat type
Harness style (4 pt., 5 pt., strap width, lock style, etc)
Colors
Quantities

I will call AOI Monday and see what they offer and what information they need from us.

So far I've got:
LowDown - 2 seats - Daily Driver - Grey (or Black, haven't made up my mind yet)
Numi Jr. - 2 seats - Premier High Back - Grey & 2 Harnesses - 5 pt. - Latch
Crawfishstu - 2 seats - Competition High Back - Black - Removable Cushion - Wide Width
Mike - 2 seats - Premier High Back - black on black & 4 point harness
Fahrvegnugen - Competition Low Back - color TBD & CJ Brackets
Dan58 - 2 seat covers - Rainbow ;)

Grrr, all the good seats have a fixed back - I need some w/ backs that fols forward to allow backseat access. I'm finding thsi seriously limits my options.

Tell Jared to make sure he gets the wide seats...even if you're not a fatty, they're extra comfy

I planned on keeping the group buy open until the end of the month for anyone else who wants in / get money together. I will wait until longer if that's what you all want to do.
Also, I didn't get a chance to call AOI today. I stepped on a 16p nail which cut my day short..

Please check my list to make sure I got your info correct.

93 zj d60's 36" irocks aka almost bad ass

edit: was thinking about the premier seat. just out of curiosity is the comp seats worth the extra money.

Will anybody be at the spring fling with a set of prp's in their rig I can hop into? I've been leaning towards them but hate to buy them without plopping down in one of them. I'm new to the forum here but I've come across a few of you guys at some time or another. I'm part of the MARR crew with Bill Gilbert, Joe Fernkas, and other former rock raider members.

not sure of the benefit if we are all just requesting quotes from AOI or somewhere else anyway. I am looking for seats as well but not sure if I want to go with PRP. Nick we will have to talk.

What happened to the rock raiders? all the sudden there website was up and gone.

lets just say we had a division of the club. There is a new Rock Raiders site somewhere else and the old site is now the Mid-Atlantic rough Riders since most of the hardcore wheelers left the raiders.

AOI already sent some quotes that are better than you'll find elsewhere. I give PRP a thumbs up. 2 years and still in great shape.
