If you are thinking about buying now is the time. I know many that I have spoken with on the board about this are on the fence right now thinking about if now is the right time. Right now might be your possible best advantage to jump on the home that is right for you. Most appraisals that I am seeing are showing homes way less than what they were previously even a year ago. What does that mean? More leverage and bargaining power when negotiating the contract. If you are a serious motivated first time homebuyer do not wait until the market upswings. Take adavantage of todays conditions which will mean way more equity when the market does go back up. If the contract process is a little over whelming and you are unsure of what you are looking at do not hesitate to contact me. I offer a free contract reviewal process with all of my settlements. That means no problems, no issues, no worries and no money out of your pocket.
The first home Realtor Kat and I purchased was in a market very similiar to this one many years ago. It was a foreclosed home. We bought it for peanuts on the dollar and in two years after living in it to circumvent Capital Gains on the property we made a little over 160k when the market came back. If you need help identifying the right property or have any real estate questions do not hesitate to call me.
