Wed. before the race and the truck isn't done? Glad to hear this is going to be just like every other form of racing.
Oh I'm 95% sure he isn't racing, unles some kind of miracle of wrenching magic happens.
If he shows, he'd just be hangin' w/ the boys.
He also got an offer to drive Zaboth's FToy in the ECORS race at DTOR the same day, so my bet is he'll go there instead...
You know, they supposedly have a "rental" program...
I was at the track prepping last weekend. It's the first race, should be 6 trucks there. These little rangers are a blast to drive and can be fully built for under $3,000. I'll have mine finished in a few months. Switching jobs and buying a house has pushed mine back. The track is on an organic beer hops farm. Pretty cool place.
Nice schedule. 20 mins of racing, several hours of playing around.
Sounds like a realistic balance...

11:00am-11:30am - Track Maintenance/Truck Repairs
11:30am-12:00pm - Photo/Video Shooting
12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch/Staging/Volunteer Setup
1:00pm-1:20pm - THE RACE
1:30pm - 1:45pm - Awards Ceremony (Presentation of the Cumberland Cup. Yes, there is a trophy. Yes, you will be jealous if you dont win it)
2:00pm-4:00pm - Spectator Rides & Drives (or as long as the trucks remaining working)
