  • Gulf Stream RV's?

Hey, don't know if any of you guys remember me, I haven't been around for a few years. The girlfriend and I are thinking about coming back to the states to travel around for awhile and want to pick up a smaller Class B RV. We'll be driving around through the rockies mostly for about 6months.

I've found a bunch of mid 2000s Gulf Stream RV's for half of what other similar ones go for. Like this one: http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2006...ISER-119383387

Why so cheap? Are they crap? Would I spend 6mo fixing stupid stuff?

Dude, that thing is badass! You should get it.

Sorry, I don't know a thing about RVs. Good luck and great hearing from you.
Your years have brought you wisdom... and the ability to rationalize your laziness. Although your decision to wheel TWO YJs contradicts both my previous statements.

I can confirm that an RV will do 90. Downhill. I cannot confirm that it ran the next day. Don't buy that one.

If you crank the radio, you can drown out the rattles....or engine knock.

I hope its not too late to chime in, the only thing I noticed is the whole gas powered where the common want is diesel. I would just say to look it over like any other purchase since there are sure to be good ones and bad ones for sale but the thing with gas is at elevation they are gonna run pretty doggy if you know what I mean and the gas stations will know you by name.
