a little bit of updating. the snow and a trip to n.c. has kept me away a little. I will be mostly likely getting over there in the next couple of days.
a little better side shot. ![]() rear departure. ![]() rear triangulated four link. you can kind of see my one tire losing air...thanks langdon. ![]() about an inch of clearance at front of rear fender. thankfully I moved the perch back about an 1 1/2".

What are you doing for Bumpstops in the front? Factory style but longer?
I'm lost on how to do mine. I moved the axle further forward so I think that would be out. ![]() Think you will have any rubbing when the rear flexs up? Looks tight. Looking Good! Rick |

if I do any bumpstops in the front, it won't be much. I have about the same amount of travel as I do clearance.
as for the rear catching on the body, I don't think that will be a problem. the tire will go up and away from the rocker on compression. I might end up with some limiting straps of some sort to keep the tire from doing damage to the upper fenderwell. on droop, I think I should have just enough clearance. we will see. btw...what size tire are you running "ramsport59". those 36's probably give you a little more room back by the rocker. ideally I should be running 37's, but the price was right with the 38's. when it is time to get "newer" tires, 37's will probably be the ticket.

funny you should say that. I have been working on it a good bit. however, i did go in reverse a little with the front suspension.
i redid the front crossmember to get it pulled up a little bit. had some 1/4" plate sitting around. that, plus some trussing will sit it about flate with the unibody. i also put some ballistic joints on to replace the bent arms and RE joints. the crossmember should be done "soon". as for the rest, i finally got the right brackets for the rear disc conversion. it was my mistake...fixed now. so that is done. have to get the drag link, hydro assist and trackbar in. then it is just a bunch of time consuming small crap (ie. brake and fuel lines, coil retainers, shift linkage, trimming, etc...). on top of all that, i have to fix the wife's jeep. already replaced the cracked head. now just the miss and slight upper end tapping from before. ![]() oh well. if i don't get done before my brother "langdon", the next six-pack is on me. will try to post pics "soon". btw..."langdon", that tire seems to be holding air now. |

coil bucket retainers and bumpstops are done. will probably have the front crossmember in this week, that way it will back on all fours. also have rear caliper brake hoses coming. will update more soon.

got done all the brake work, including all the plumbing. rear discs look sweet. still have some things to do. have to finish the front crossmember. got pretty much everything to finish it, just got sidetracked with the brakes. will update some more probably this weekend.
